GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

The prize for correctly answering this month's challenge goes to Dr. Barnes Tatum, Jefferson-Pilot professor of religion & philosophy.

ANSWER:
Pictured above is the destruction of Hudson Hall in March of 1969. Built in 1917, Hudson Hall was located behind the East wing of Main Building.
