GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

ANSWER:
Pictured above is the placement of a time capsule into the cornerstone of the Arts & Sciences Building (now Proctor Hall West) when it was under construction in 1950.
