GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

We Tsung Zung
Class of 1917

We Tsung Zung, as part of an exchange program with a Methodist church affiliated school in China, became the college's first foreign national graduate in 1917.

Upon her return to China, she entered into the newspaper profession, which was then unheard of for a woman in China. She later acted as a delegate from China to the International Congress, another unusual accomplishment for a woman in China during that time period.
