"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

Pictured above is what came to be known as the Turrentine House (after Dr. Samuel B. Turrentine, the college's ninth president from 1913-1935) at the intersection of Odell Place and College Place. In the background is the Curtis House (after William Curtis) and a number of houses that lined Odell Place.
