GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

ANSWER:
Pictured above are the "homespun girls." The homespun girls were a part of the college's centennial celebration in 1938 and represented how the young ladies might have looked during the college's earlier days.
