GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

The prize for this month's challenge goes to Mary Persia, a student here at the college.

ANSWER:
Pictured above is the GC Fire Squad in 1933. The Fire Squad was responsible for conducting drills and training throughout the course of the year. It was composed of Seniors.
