"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

The prize for correctly answering this month's challenge goes to Amanda Stanley, registrar's office coordinator.

Pictured above is the International Relations Club in 1931. Initiated by the history department with the aid of teh Carnegie Foundation, it was at that time at that time the youngest club on campus. Its membership was made up of those girls who were interested in keeping up with international affairs and problems and who were willing to read daily some newspaper or periodical. Meetings were bi-monthly, and authorities on international issues were secured as speakers.
