GC's "WHAT IS IT?"

"WHAT IS IT?" is a visual monthly challenge that is intended to test one's knowledge of Greensboro College's history, educate one about the history of the college and be a challenging, but fun and entertaining, diversion. Each image will be related, in some way, shape or form, to the history of Greensboro College. The monthly challenge is open to anyone. The first person to correctly answer each month will receive a 5"x7" photo print of that month's visual challenge.

That's the fire escape on the back side of Main building!

Looks like a fire drill outside Main Building, specifically outside the Parlor theatre.

ANSWER:
Pictured above is a fire drill on the south wing of Main Building, circa the early 1960s. Main Building still had a number of dorms rooms in it during the 1960s.
